這項問題源自工具仰賴 hook（掛鉤，特定事件發生時被觸發的小程式）來串接各項功能。從 v0.33.2 版起，Windows 打包時未將 hook 腳本放入安裝程式讀取的資料夾，導致安裝程式找不到檔案。連帶讓首次設定，以及接續對話、精簡模式與額度感知等開關在點擊後靜默沒有反應，原本已裝好的 hook 也停止更新。macOS 系統完全不受此問題影響。現在 Windows 版已恢復正常，能順利安裝並持續更新 hook。
If you previously experienced toggling settings on Windows with no response, all switches now take effect normally.
This issue stemmed from the tool relying on hooks (scripts triggered when specific events occur) to connect various features. Starting from v0.33.2, Windows packaging failed to include hook scripts in the folder read by the installer, leaving the installer unable to find the files. Consequently, initial setup as well as switches for continuing conversations, compact mode, and quota awareness silently failed to respond when clicked, and previously installed hooks also stopped updating. macOS is completely unaffected by this issue. Windows has now returned to normal, smoothly installing and continuously updating hooks.
**Windows installs hooks and keeps them up to date again.** Since v0.33.2 the Windows build left the hook scripts out of the folder the installer reads, so first-run setup and the resume, terse and quota-aware toggles silently did nothing, and existing hooks stopped updating. macOS was not affected.
