FEATURE

Preserve Windows System Variables When Launching MCP Tools Remotely

When dispatching tasks from a Unix host to a Windows runtime environment over a remote connection and specifying custom parameters for tools, the underlying system no longer loses critical settings essential for system operation.

Now when launching an MCP (a protocol for connecting AI to external tools) server over remote stdio channels, the system automatically preserves core Windows environment variables such as SYSTEMROOT, TEMP, and TMP, even when remote environment variables are explicitly specified. Unix hosts can thus fully maintain the native launch environment of the Windows runtime, ensuring tools do not fail to start due to missing system paths or temporary directories.
